Krishna : The supreme God

This page gives a brief list of a few of the countless miracles that Lord Krishna Performed during His incarnation. These esteblish the fact that Krishna is the complete incarnation of the Supreme Lord.

1)   Govardhan Dharan (Lifting Mt. Govardhan) Lord Krishna lifted a mountain named Govardhan (around 26 miles in perimeter) and held it up on Hiis one little finger for 7 days conituously. He did so to save the people from continuous rains. Thousands of people took shelter under the mountain and witnessed this miracle of Lord Krishna. Infact this gave Lord Krishna the name "Giridhari" (one who lifts the Govardhan).

2)      Manifesting multiple (16108) forms at one time Lord Krishna married 16,108 queens. He simultaneously resided wthl all of them in 16,108 different palaces.All this happened in such a way that every queen thought the Lord Krishna is with her only.

3)     Transforming Himself into others (multiple cowherds and cows) Once Bhrahma ji had doubt over Lord Krishna being the Supreme Lord. So, Brahma ji stole the cowherd friends of Lord Krishna along with their cows and hid them in a cave. Krishna understood it and simply transformed Himself into various forms so that He himself became the cowherds and the cows. Thus Krishna lived in multiple forms for some time. He did it so perfectly that no one could know this fact. Later Brahma ji realized that it was their mistake to doubt the supremacy of Lord Krishna. So, Brahma ji returned the cowherds and the cows to Lord Krishna.

4)      Making Sun rise and fall at His will When the war of Mahabharta was on, Arjuna pledged to kill one of the warriors on the Kaurava side on a particular day of war. To make Arjuna's pledge fail,the Kaurava warrior hid himself. So, even upto the evening of that that Arjuna couldnot kill him. So, Krishna made the sun to set for a momemnt. When the sun did set, he came out saying that war for the day is over. And arjuna could not full fill his pledge. Seeing this Krishna made the sun to rise again. When sun rose, Arjuna killed the Kaurava warrior. Thus Lord Krishna can do anything to help His devotees.

5)      Spectacular unlimited form Lord Krishna showed His spectacular unlimited form to His dear devotee Arjuna during the divine address of Bhagavad Gita. He showed the same Form to His mother Yashoda also.

6)      Providing Liberation to those trying to kill Him Many demons were sent by Lord Krishna's Uncle Kamsa to kill Him. Krishna killed them all even when he was a child and gave them libration. Lord Krishna is most merciful; he gives liberation to those who try to kill Him. He is the one who can give liberation to anyone, instantly, just by His divine mercy.

7)      Making the dead alive Lord Krishna made the six dead children of Devaki alive again on her request.

8)      Curing the diseased Lord Krishna, cured many diseased people including the hunchback woman, whom Krishna turned into a beautiful woman.

Pastimes of the Lord are unlimited, and are beyond human grasp or intellect.
